Jean L. Lemieux, born on February 10, 1959, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2021.

She was born February 10, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joyce and Harry Griffith. She attended Berea High School and Black River High School, where she graduated and where she met the love of her life and future husband Ralph Lemieux Jr. They shared 43 years of marriage, four daughters, three grandchildren, and many travels around the world together.

She was an avid Ohio sports fan and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jean worked at Reeths-Puffer schools and ran the Salvation Army Turkey Run for many years. She touched so many lives with her outgoing personality, infectious laugh, and encouragement to always “GET UP!”

She is survived by her husband Ralph Thomas Lemieux Jr, her daughters Heather (Jayson) Schlechty, Rachel (Steven Clark) Lemieux, Kelley (Lee) Myers, and Hannah (Jameson) Neiger-Bickham, her grandchildren Logan, Alexander, and Zoey, her brothers Albert (Nicki) Griffith and Lewis (Kathy) Griffith, brother in law Charles (Jeanne) Lemieux, two aunts, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Diane Hughes and Harriet Akers, mother and father-in-law Ralph Sr and Mary Lemieux, and sisters-in-law Terrie Grzybowski and Marie Grimmer.
